Essentials of Cal/Safety 1 - Part 1 |
Essentials of California Safety Part 1
Attending this day will earn you an 8-hour card.
Course Sessions: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Lunch: 1 Hour · Breaks: Hourly
This intense one-day course will instruct you on the essential General Industry Safety Orders required by California OSHA in light commercial operations, health care, and office environments. You will receive the California General Industry Safety Orders book enhanced with RegLogic® technology as part of your learning experience. This 8-hour program is vital for all employees.
Course material for the first day includes:
- Introduction to California OSHA

Essentials of California Safety Part 2
Attending the first day and second day will earn you a 14-hour card. You must complete the first day to take this course.
Course Sessions: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Lunch: 1 Hour · Breaks: Hourly
This course adds to the body of knowledge learned during the first day. You will find out what California OSHA representatives look for when they visit your facility. You’ll receive instruction on numerous specific safety issues, and will leave each of the day’s individual sessions with a better understanding of California General Industry Safety Orders than ever before.
Course material for the second day includes:
- Respirators for Industry
- California OSHA Inspections
- Noise Exposure
- PPE
- Permit-Required Confined Space
- Lockout/Tagout
- Forklifts
- Machine Guarding
- Electrical Safety

Essentials of Safety 2 - Part 3 |
Essentials of California Safety Part 3
Attending all four days will earn you a 30-hour card. You must complete the first and second days to take this course.
Course Sessions: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Lunch: 1 Hour · Breaks: Hourly
During the last two days of the four-day course, you will have the opportunity to apply what you’ve learned through group exercises. From creating an emergency action plan to utilizing a book of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs), we’ve put together power workshops that use tools exclusively designed to maximize your safety knowledge and understanding.
Course material for the third and fourth day includes:
